4 legz Natural Doggie Treats now coming on Amazon

Kudos - AND doggie treats all around in celebration of 4legz! Woof Woof Horray! Owner Cythnia Murray and her husband John are making headway on their FANTASTIC business 4legz. These wonderful doggie (ok I admit I tried one) treats are superb. You can get a bag off their site - http://4legz.com/. Owner Cynthia is deaf, and one amazing woman!!! We used to live together - when she got her first hearing dog Odie. Odie was a service dog and he was such an amazing wonder, not to mention great friend, that Cynthia named one of their treats after him. So why not support this NEW! LOCAL! BUSINESS! They have been working hard at it for several years and now have a small commercial kitchen business until they get so many orders that they have to switch to a bigger bakery. My dog (not to mention every dog I've shared their treats with) went crazy for these treats.
Cynthia Murray is also president of the non-profit "Signing Santa" organization whose notoriety includes involvement in winning a "Best of the Northwest" film award.

TRANSFORMATION ACCESS - Washington Trails Greenway Association

Capture Me Studios is proud to announce the release of their new film "Transformation Access"
This film has been in the making for a while. There are a lot of people in the community whose efforts are film-worthy. We captured just a few in this film.
We worked with people new and returning to the Studio. Christine Redmond with the Alaskan Cricket is seen in this film and helped it come to completion. The WTGA is always informative and inspiring. Newbie - Sherry Murphy tried her hand at narration to finish the film off and we want to thank all the people that were willing to do interviews and were not shown here.

HERODIAS'S CLAIM

These beautiful Heron's staked their claim near one of our bays here in the Pacific Northwest, and I was blessed to bear witness to this event thanks to, Earth Sculptor, Henry. Henry Hollweger received the Shine award this year for his untold environmental efforts in our community. (No scotchbroom is safe when he's around!) This piece is available for purchase at our online store. http://capturemestudios.exposuremanager.com/g/rizzinart

Save A Seastar Buy a Star & help with the Gulf Coast Oil Spill

Another name for starfish is a seastar. Capturemestudios.com wanted to give people a chance to remember and help the animals from the Gulf Coast Oil Spill. We've created this starfish design you can purchase in our online store. Fifty percent of profits will go to help the animals from the disaster. Capture Me Studios choose the Starfish because of it's simplicity in design for the artwork. Christine Redmond with the alaskancricket.com who has been working with us to help get this project in place says that the Starfish was the perfect choice as it is an indicator speicies. According to Widipedia "Such an organism plays a role in its ecosystem that is analogous to the role of a keystone in an arch. While the keystone is under the least pressure of any of the stones in an arch, the arch still collapses without it."

2-13-10 Eagle Scout Path Clearning Work Day

Bryson Grondel led a team of Eagle Scouts in clearning a path on the Olympia Parks Trail. Rain did not keep the 20+ group of mostly young men from ripping out scotch broom and cutting away a beautiful path. The group was highly organized and it was hard to get anyone away for an interview because they were working so hard. That issue was not a problem I was to find out later because I ended up without any interviews on account of my tape got ruined due the rain - I wonder what Peter Jackson would have done? A salamander showed up to visit along with the other workers.

2-20-10 Woodland Trails Assoc Tree Planting

Failure did not keep the Woodland Trails Association from making their second stab at tree planting along the Olympia Parks Trails. Sunshine blessed the seven plus workers who seemed very used to working together. Led by Jack Horton they seemed right at home traipsing up the side of the hill bearing tender seedlings, while I tried not to fall into any patches of newly sprouting nettles with all my camera equipment. Mike Ruth informed me he had heard an expert recently say that ten trees should be planted per person. I had to start counting to make sure I've done my part. But this rugged crew made quick work of 300 seedlings. Lucy Coffman came all the way from Tacoma just to help out. This group was awesome!

NEW ART

SOME DAYS I EAT A LOT OF CROW

GLOWING SUMMERS OF LAKEFAIR

THE BLESSING
May you spend one day in the cold and never forget the homeless
May you spend one day without food and never forget the hungry
May you spend one day without friends and never forget the lonely
May you spend one day in pain and learn to comfort the hurting
May you spend one day in the dark so you can learn to feel the light
May you spend one day in the storm and learn to look for the rainbow
May you spend one day with bad company to know your true friends
May you spend one day in sorrow and the rest dance for joy
May you spend one day with Jesus and never be the same
